About Barb Winsor

Barb Winsor, a dynamic and versatile abstract painter, infuses her canvases with a keen sense of color and design, inspired by her eclectic and diverse background experiences.

With a passion for interiors and decor, Barb is both an interior stylist and a fine artist. Her expertise in transforming spaces into visual masterpieces has been honed through the years of hands-on experience with an innate understanding of the intricate dance between colors, texture, and form. As an artist, Barb translates her love of beautiful interiors and textiles into her paintings, which resonate with a sense of balance and aesthetic harmony.

Barb's fascination with entertaining, antiques and gardening began when she and her husband, Paul, lived in the English countryside. This experience threads its way into her artwork, with organic shapes and botanical influences intertwined with abstract expressions.

She and Paul now reside in Black Rock, CT, inspired by living on the water, surrounded  by the calming influence of the sea. Barb's studio is at Metro Art Studios in Bridgeport, CT.
